Written as if it wasn't me writing it... 

Graham has had more than 35 years working in various roles in Finance primarily focused on Accounting and Reporting for large multinational companies.

 

Graham trained with BDO Stoy Hayward working on multiple audits before working for a number of small to medium sized businesses in senior finance roles. 

 

In 1998 he joined Novartis in the UK as Head of Financial Reporting and Accounting (FRA) 

 

2001 saw Novartis promote him to European Head of FRA for the Consumer Health Division and then to Global Head of FRA for its Medical Nutrition Business, both roles based out of Switzerland. In these roles he actively participated in a large number of M&A deals on both the buy and sell side.

 

In 2006 Novartis sold its Medical Nutrition Business to Nestle, Graham was responsible for managing the finance transition and negotiating and providing oversight of the Transition Service agreements.

 

After 6 months of managing the successful transition to Nestle, Graham was promoted to a Global role by Nestle Group heading up the Market Reporting team who were the team responsible for the quality of financial reporting submitted to Switzerland each month by the local markets.

 

During this period of his career Graham also supported the M&A team on a number of M&A deals with key focus areas being the integration of acquisitions and defining and managing Transition Services.

 

In 2018, Graham was appointed Global Finance Project Manager charged with defining and managing a Global External Audit Tender Process for Nestle covering operations in over 180 countries. Graham has experienced first-hand the full end to end audit tender process from the decision to tender through the set-up of the tender process, including a data room with over 56,000 pages, the tender, the decision and subsequent transition of auditors.
